FREECALL 1800 Number
The 1800 number was set up when the system first became available to enable interstate dealers and members of the public to make free calls to our electronic sales and fishing sales departments.
Due to the use of mobile phones using this number locally together with both dealers and members of the public using the freecall number for service support and technical assistance instead of for sales purposes, our costs have resulted in the need to either shut down this service or increase our prices. As is the way when rorting takes place someone has to pay. We feel it unfair to raise prices whereby resellers suffer the burden for others who choose to ignore the terms of use of the freecall number. Therefore we have closed the number.
If you are requiring this capability for sales purposes we have a new freecall number which will be issued on a case by case basis to our dealers.
We trust it will be used for the purpose for which it is intended and not be given to members of the public or service technicians.
