JP27 and AP27 now available

It is a pleasure to announce that the long missed JP27 jack point for the AP27 is finally released. Both AP27 and JP27 are ready for despatch and order are now being accepted.

Please observe that AP27/AP27S and JP27/JP21 are not compatible because they use different connectors.
JP27 is a Robnet 2 T-joiner for through panel mount. One connector is protected with a removable cap for the AP27 cable connector, the other two are available from behind the panel for connection of standard Robnet2 cables available in different lengths, please contact John Coe or Josh Marshall for prices.

Note!
The JP27 does not have a cable connected like the JP21.
A standard Robnet 2 cable must therefore be added to interconnect the AP27/JP27 with the autopilot system.
The 7m cable specified in the price list is a misprint.

We propose that you use the 5m (16') cable as standard, but any of the listed lengths (1, 5, 10m) can be used.
Also the 15m (50') cable P/N 24005647 can be used if required. That one, however, has only one connector and must be hard wired to the Autopilot Computer whilst the other Robnet 2 cables have two connectors and can be connected to the autopilot system on any free Robnet 2 connector or via a Robnet 2 T-joiner P/N 24005662.
The part numbers are:
22088090 AP27 Autopilot
24005795 JP27 Jack Point
24005613 Robnet 2 cable 1m
24005621 Robnet 2 cable 5m
24005639 Robnet 2 cable 10m

New Quin Website

We have been developing a new website www.quinmarine.com.au which went live 2 weeks ago for testing and is currently at a stage whereby it will remain in place whilst further construction takes place.

There are a number of new features.

We would like to add your contact details to the 'DEALERS' page as a Simrad dealer, consisiting of name address and phone number, .
Please advise if you wish to be included and if so advise correct details by emailing me on service@quinmarine.com.au.

We also have a 'SPECIALS' page where we presently have a list of our Koden stock for disposal.
There will more to follow consisting of other products such as Corus instruments, Dataline and other obsolete models.

We also intend to add spare part catalogue numbers and currently all Simrad user manuals are on the 'DOWNLOADS' page.
We hope to have a dealer protected area to enable technical data to be made available which will replace this weblog.

Any suggestions welcome. Please note that the site meta tags are being picked up by search engine robots now, so be quick if you want first pick of the current Koden specials.
